The permanent search of new sources of alternative energy to the tradicional one, forms a part of the strategic policies assumed by the governments to support or to achive the development of the countries (World comisión of energy 1994) Before this premise being sat , in the year 1980, we had already begau to use photovoltaic Systems as energy source for non attended services of information transmission.
At present we are developing automatic non attended Systems capable of working at temperatures below -15degrees , for low constant Power (between 500w and 15000w) based on protonic batteries which use hydrogen as fuel , with the purpose of using them on specific applications, according to a serious commitment with the environment.
An inmediate application would be, the substitution of the electricity-generating groups that feed the existing communication installations, put up in places with a small demographic density and difficult access.
At present these equipment are powered by groups of diesel oil , which work in uninterrupted functioning 24 hours. This information is really alarming, since the fuel leakage is impossible to control, as well as the pollution caused by the carbon waste generated from the functioning of the mentioned electricity –generating groups , without mentioning the accoustic pollution, although we are talking about uninhabited places. It´s a real problem for the local fauna.
Production of electricity in an autonome and automatic way working in low temperatures and adverse conditions, computing remote control , capacity of producing from 500w to 15000w not generating any magnetic field nor any type of radiation, it helps reduce the environmental pollution, reaching the Kyoto protocol objectives and near Bali´s. |
The continuous investigations have led us to develop a smaller stack and reduced dimention as well as lighter hydrogen tankscompared to the ones existing in the market now. |
